Looking for an elite Supreme skate?

First of all, because of their 3D skate lab, Bauer discovered that there is a more intelligent way to fit skates. They found out that there is a direct correlation
between the width and volume of the foot. This means that a wide foot always has a high volume and the other way around. This means that they can narrow down the widths and models on the market and introduce the new 3D fits: FIT 1, FIT 2 and FIT 3
Secondly, they asked what do players desire from their skates. The answer was fifty-fifty. 50% of the players desire Power while the other 50% desire agility.
Bauer completely re-engineered their manufacturing and fitting process completely. You will now find that Supreme and Vapor will fit the same, but the skating sensation will be different. So this means when buying skating, ask yourself: am I a power profile skater or an agility profile skater.

The new Supreme top model brings us a lot of new features to enhance the Power Profile sensation. Starting from the bottom up:
The Supreme Ultrasonic features the brand new TUUK LS Pulse TI edge runner with a Power Profile sharpening out of the box. A runner made with harder steel and titanium coating for better edge retention and a better power transfer. The holder being used is the Lightspeed Edge holder with Quick Trigger Release system the most used holder by NHL and professional players across the globe. The outsole being used is achieved through the revolutionary unibody technology with 3D lasted Carbon CURV composite. This makes the skate a lot stiffer and offers more torsional strength for more power every stride.
Moving on to the boot construction itself. Bauer used their 3D-lasted Platform on the Ultrasonic. This means that there are shapes in the heel. Achilles, ankle as well as the midfoot to have a nice close fit to the foot to allow for that maximum performance on the ice. The material being used on the Ultrasonic is a Carbon Curv Composite, this is Bauer's lightest material being used in boot construction right now. It also adds even further thermal formability than any other skate in our line up.
Now on the inside of the skate, they use the Lock-fit Pro liner which is soft and durable but which will also stabilize the foot and increase the power output in each and every stride. They also incorporated the new asymmetrical toe cap for better push-off strength.
Finally, the Reflex Pro tongue is a 52 ounce felt construction with Dual injected inserts for more even power distribution and comfort after the thermoforming.

How to measure your feet

Wear the type of socks you'll wear with your skates and try to measure your feet in the afternoon (feet typically swell during the day). Distribute weight evenly before measuring. Keep in mind, if you're looking for a performance fit, your toes are allowed to slightly touch the toe cap, while having no more than 0.5cm of space in the heel. When sizing children, follow the same method adding 1/2 size extra for growing room.

  • Step 1

Place a piece of paper on a hard floor with one end to the wall. Stand on the piece of paper with the heel slightly touching the wall.

  • Step 2

Mark the end of your longest toe with a pencil and complete the outline of your feet

  • Step 3

Take the larger of the two foot length values and compare it with our sizing chart, to define your shoe size.
